OEM Inside
The same Raman bench from feasibility to deployment
Whether a researcher interested in productizing your ideas with a spin-off, or a developer trying to shorten product development cycles, Wasatch’s “OEM inside” design philosophy helps to protect your time and development investment. At the heart of every laboratory-ready Raman system is the same OEM bench used in final products. Laboratory systems simply add mechanical and electrical features to ensure safety compliance, and simple out of box operation. This means that the spectra, calibration data, and analysis methods you develop during the feasibility and validation stage will transfer directly into your final product, without having to start over.

Protect Your Calibration, Data and Development Time
Move from feasibility to deployment with the same bench
From Spectrum to Answer
In Raman applications, collecting the spectrum is only the first step. The real value (and the actual answer) comes from the calibration models, classification methods or AI workflows built on large spectral datasets. Developing these calibrations requires a substantial investment in time and money. If your feasibility work is performed on a benchtop research Raman instrument, but your final product uses a different OEM bench, much of the data collection and calibration work will need to be repeated.
OEM Inside: Designed for Translation to Product
With Wasatch’s “OEM inside” approach, the same bench used in your laboratory system will serve as the Raman engine in your final OEM product. You can trust that your data analysis trained during feasibility with your lab instrument will transfer to your final product, helping you reduce development time, lower cost, and accelerate productization.
OEM Series Spectrometer
The OEM version of the WP X series uses the same optical bench as in the lab-based Raman system. This means all calibration models, classification methods or post processing workflows developed on the lab version are fully applicable to the OEM X series spectrometer. The result is an acceleration of your time to market and lower development costs.
