Laser Pulse Compression

High efficiency, high-quality diffracted wavefront in a robust package

Wasatch Photonics’ enhanced VPH gratings excel at pulse compression and stretching for high-power ultrafast lasers. Our ultraclear transmissive gratings offer market-leading efficiency with minimal ghosting or scatter, and can be easily handled and cleaned. Stock gratings are available, or we can collaborate on custom OEM designs from prototype to volume production.

Optical Coherence Tomography

Consistent efficiency with wavelength & polarization

Our HD VPH gratings deliver high efficiency for all polarizations across a 100–200 nm bandwidth, enabling clearer, deeper SD-OCT images. Stock gratings are available, or we can collaborate on custom designs. Trusted by OEMs from concept to launch, our transmissive gratings allow compact, high-efficiency systems with minimal stray light for faster, higher-quality imaging.

Hyperspectral Imaging

Enabling compact, broad bandwidth, diffraction-limited optical designs

Our transmissive VPH gratings are more efficient, lower scatter, and more robust than reflective ruled gratings, enabling smaller, low-aberration, easy-to-align spectral instruments. Using our patented technologies, we optimize gratings for bandwidth, low polarization sensitivity, and transmission. Stock gratings are available, or we can collaborate on OEM designs from 300–2500 nm, offering broad bandwidth and high-dispersion solutions for hyperspectral imaging and imaging spectrographs.

Astronomy

Trusted to deliver field proven, high efficiency gratings

Wasatch Photonics builds industry-leading Raman and astronomical spectrometers using transmissive VPH gratings, ideal for low-light applications. More efficient, lower scatter, and more robust than reflective ruled gratings, they enable compact, low-aberration, easy-to-align instruments. Our patented technologies optimize bandwidth, polarization insensitivity, and transmission. Stock gratings are available, or we can develop custom OEM designs. With years of large-format imaging expertise, we supply gratings for studying chemical composition, velocity, density, and temperature of celestial objects, used in spectrographs worldwide.

Spectroscopy

Exceptional 1st order efficiency, low stray light, VPH gratings

Wasatch Photonics builds industry-leading Raman and fluorescence spectrometers using transmissive VPH gratings, which offer up to 40% higher efficiency and much lower scatter than reflective ruled gratings. Encapsulated for robustness, they are easy to handle and clean, enabling smaller, low-aberration, easy-to-align instruments. Our patented technologies optimize bandwidth, polarization insensitivity, and transmission. Stock gratings are available, or we can create custom OEM solutions from 300–2500 nm, including broad bandwidth and high- dispersion options for your spectrometer design.
