Home Products Raman Spectrometers & Systems XL Series WP 1064XL Series Raman Spectrometer
Ideal for maximum fluorescence suppression, 1064 nm Raman is often chosen for complex organic or biological materials and/or highly absorbing samples such as certain oils, polymers, inks, varnishes, and semiconductor materials.
Compared with silicon CCDs, traditional TEC-cooled (-15°C) InGaAs sensors are around 100 times less sensitive, and their higher dark current restricts integration times, making weak Raman signals difficult to detect. The WP 1064XL Raman product addresses these limitations by pairing a high numerical aperture, VPH grating optical design with an ultra-cooled camera (-60°C) such as the Andor iDus 490A for industry-leading 1064 nm Raman performance.
Bistable shutter, controlled via TTl signal, BNC connection

The WP 1064XL offers the Raman spectroscopist the very best chance to tease our Raman data from weak, highly autofluorescent Raman samples. With a choice of optical coupling methods to maximize the number of precious Raman photons reaching the ultra-cooled InGaAs sensor, the WP 1064XL is perfect for the most demanding of Raman samples.
