Wasatch Photonics’ facilities maintain a quality management system that is consistent with the ISO 9001:2015 International Quality Standard, assessed by Orion Registrar, Inc. The Morrisville, NC facility has been certified for the design and manufacture of spectrometers and optical imaging equipment since November 13, 2017. The Logan, UT facility has been certified for the design and development, manufacturing, assembly, validation, and testing of gratings since March 15, 2021.
Wasatch Photonics diffraction gratings are RoHS II compliant, falling well below the maximum concentration values for cadmium, lead, hexavalent chromium, PBB, PBDE, and mercury as specified by the EU Commission in the amendment to the RoHS Directive. We also certify that all of our spectroscopy and OCT products comply with RoHS requirements.
Misty Johnson is responsible for taking care of our grating customers at the Logan, Utah, facility. She has been a member of the Wasatch Photonics team since 2009. By understanding her customers’ needs and goals, as well as the current grating market, Misty is able to provide a superior level of customer support. As Account Manager, she acts as a liaison between customers and Wasatch Photonics’ manufacturing department making sure that the lines of communication are always open.
